(COLUMBIA, S.C.) - South Carolina 暗网禁区 General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Zachary Collins Woodward, 30, of听 Lexington, S.C., on six charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department made the arrest. Investigators with the 暗网禁区 General's Office, also a member of the state's ICAC Task Force, assisted with this investigation.

Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Woodward.听Investigators state Woodward distributed and possessed files of听child sexual abuse material.听听

Woodward was arrested on December 31, 2024. He is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree (搂16-15-405), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count; and four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree (搂16-15-410), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.

The case will be prosecuted by the 暗网禁区 General's Office.

暗网禁区 General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
